SL app

The SL app is a smart travel tool to help you find your way and buy tickets. The application allows you to buy single tickets, 24-hour tickets, charge for your trip and pay with debit and credit cards.

The SL smart phone app is a convenient way to buy certain tickets:

1. Single itinerary ticket

Choose between adult SEK 37 fare or SEK 25 discount fare.

You pay the adult fare if you are between 20 and 64 years old. You pay a discounted fare if you are over 65, a student holding a Swedish student ID with the SL logo or if you are under 20.

2. 24-hour tickets

Choose between SEK 155 adult fare or SEK 105 discount fare.

You pay the adult fare if you are between 20 and 64 years old. You pay a discounted fare if you are over 65, a student holding a Swedish student ID with the SL logo or if you are under 20.

3. 72-hour ticket

Choose between SEK 310 adult fare or SEK 210 discount fare.

You pay the adult fare if you are between 20 and 64 years old. You pay a discounted fare if you are over 65, a student holding a Swedish student ID with the SL logo or if you are under 20.

Features of SL

- Buy single tickets and pay by cards or Swish

- Check service disruptions and see next departure from a given stop or station

- Manage your tickets and get your ticket receipts directly into your email inbox

For the first purchase in SL, you choose the payment method, as described above. If you have connected your bank card to the application, the fare will be withdrawn from your card account. If you can use Swish as your payment method, you will be redirected to Swish when you click Buy.

In certain places, mainly subway stations and trains, there are green readers for this type of ticket. Simply hold your phone to the reader and go through the turnstile.

The expiry time is displayed on the ticket in the SL application. There is also information on full or reduced fares, the amount you have paid (in Swedish kronor), and the date of purchase.
